After reaching Kurigram from any part of Bangladesh, Bhurungamari will have to pay Bhairungamari only at a local bus for 50 rupees. After that, only 5 taka or 15 rupees will be added to the local train of Mother Ganj Gami or to reach Sonahat Bridge in Rickshaw by 20 taka.

Sonahat Bridge is located in Paikchharaiyan, about 5-6 km east of Bhurungamari upazila headquarters of Kurigram district. In 1887-1887, the English railway station was constructed as part of the railway line that was set up for Gohahati to go to Manipur, India, from Lalmonirhat to Bhutungamari for their convenience and services. The bridge is about 1200 feet long.1971- During the war of liberation, the freedom fighters broke a section of the bridge. Later, during the era of President Ershad government, the then MCC and the prominent politician of Kurigram-1 constituency of Kurigram district, the leader of the liberation war, Bhurungamari, the death of the first upazila chairman Late Shamsul Haq Chowdhury demanded the restoration of Sonahat Bridge Several times in the national parliament It was again repaired in the time of the mourning Jatiya Party MP Late A A, B, M Shahidul Islam Bachchu. This bridge was built on the river Dudhkkumar. Now it is used as a normal bridge.
