Even though the main part of the 400-year-old Jummar Mosque of Pateshwari is destroyed, despite the government rules to keep the mosque (Bhruungamari) ancient civilization in Belkar Mauja of Paikchhara union, its part is still standing, but the Government can be lost at any point of time due to no grant and renovation arrangement.The ancient dome known as the beside the mosque is called. In history, in 1660, when Mir Jumla was attacked in Assam in 1660, due to no mosque in the way of going to Patehwari, Malaria died after suffering a malaria disease on his way to the Assam expedition, constructing a carved mosque at Beldah Mauja of Paikkachara union under Bhurungamari upazila of Kurigram district.At that time, when the Muslims of the area were praying for the mosque, during the British rule, the mosque remained in the woods for a long time. Meanwhile, there is a Dahr Math near beside the mosque where Dahir Mela is settled during the year.The place becomes unsteady by closing the curve. In 1956, a lecturer in Dhaldanga of the upazila came to know that there is a mosque in the place and if he gets the instructions for regular prayers, he should look for a place where the elderly people of this place, according to the dream, find a 21-foot-tall 10-foot-wide three-domed mosque.Sajid had about 200 feet long pakur tree. Later, the local people began to pray after cutting down the tree and reforming it. There is a dah / dargah beside the mosque. Many people said that when a person who came with Mir Jumla was killed, he was buried there. Salat in the mosque was not more than 19/20. On the day when the mosque began to collapse and the number of devotees increased, local people broke the original mosque in 1994 and built mosques in the place where they are praying. At present, the mosque is known as the old Jami Mosque. Mosque Committee member Azizul Haque Munshi said that no official assistance has been received in this very old mosque. But when the original mosque was renovated, it could be found in the world's court as a historic mosque. The mosque committee, which is officially looking forward to reforming the part of the original mosque, is part of the mosque's Dah / Dargah adjacent to the mosque.
